About: Amanda Dee is a pianist, violinist, and music director based in NYC and the Bay Area! She loves all cats and would love to see photos of YOUR cat. Tap Dancers

About: Gregg and Katie are Bay Area tap dancers, teachers and choreographers, professionally dancing together for over a decade. Their choreography and acts range from vintage glamour, vaudeville silliness, something spooky, and beyond. With their big imaginations they’ve produced an original show, UnHinged Holidays for the last two years and are heading to Chicago this Fall, with a new show, for the Elgin Fringe Festival. Connection to Cats: Gregg and Katie are big feline fanatics. Katie has had at least one cat companion by her side her whole life. They treasure their three rescue cats and their daily antics keep them smiling. Their cats even enjoy a fine feline art wall with various cat artwork at their dining area! G&K are so happy to support this CATbaret!

Burlesque

About: Ephemerose is a queer-bodied creative who loves to bring an alternative, dark, improvisational edge to their performance, challenging what you might think of when you hear the term "Burlesque". They aim to pull onlookers into a new world. A world filled with sensuality - in a way that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up, abstract themes - that you didn't know could be made sexy, and lots of fine detail in every. single. motion. They don't just aim to please; they aim to pull the audience in, chew them up, and spit them out feeling invigorated and empowered.

Connection to Cats: Cats are my favorite animal! I love how their personalities vary so differently from cat to cat. How they can be cute and cuddly and also independent and bossy. I find them so sweet and comforting, like soup or a fireplace; they are cozy and warm on a rainy day.

Singer/Pole

About: Mulan Rouge (she/they) is a queer Chinese American dancer, cat mom, and all-round creative. Her lifelong collection of artistic pursuits includes: acting, film-making, dance, contortion, martial arts, writing, art, and music. She recently competed as a finalist in US Pole Champions and Pole Theatre USA, and she won 1st place in her category at Pole Sport Organization Golden Gate in 2025.

Pole

About: Gwen is a pole dancer, cat mom; she makes video games, designs costumes, draws, sculpts, forages wild mushrooms, and trained in ballet — which is either very impressive or a diagnosis. Living with her cat Dusty, an eight-year-old full-time food criminal black cat who is locally famous for rummaging through food around the house, opening the fridge, defeating locks, and personally eating an entire loaf of bread.  Black cats are simply superior, and Dusty knows it.

Singer

About: Karen (she/her) is a singer, actor, choreographer, director, and writer from Southern California, now based in the Bay Area. Favorite roles include Jennyanydots in Cats (Berkeley Playhouse), Rapunzel in Into the Woods (BareStage Productions), Caesar in Antony and Cleopatra (BareStage Productions), Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (Canyon Theatre Guild), and Judith in Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (College of the Canyons).

Connection to cats: I have always loved cats. I grew up having both indoor and outdoor cats over the years, and I have raised cats from kittens. They are so fun and silly and they all have different personalities and I love that about them. 

Singer

About: Nicole Thordsen (she/her) lives in a tiny rabbit hole which she has decorated with teapots, faux flowers, and strictly the cheapest of IKEA furniture. She spends her days binging horror movies with her two cats, Spooky and Binx, and hiding away in libraries before going to sleep in a human-size dog bed. Connection to Cats: I work in veterinary hospice after years of volunteering in rescue & shelter setting.  I could not possibly live without all my kitties, past and present

ASL Interpreter/Performer

About: Heatherina got her start with traveling to over 20 countries interpreting music. She then settled back home in the Central Valley where she interpreted Musicals and Founded her group Vizual Voices. Which allows Sign language students the opportunity to interpret community shows. With Students ranging from 7yrs old to 37yrs old. In the meantime Heatherina also worked as an Interpreter in the School District. In those years she directed & co-directed musicals completely in Sign language in order for the Deaf students to have the opportunity to experience theater like their hearing classmates. Nowadays, You can find her in North Beach once a month interpreting Dear San Francisco at Club Fugazi.

Connection to Cats: Heatherina has always had cats & loved cats. In the summer of 2019 during one of her many trips to S.F. She discovered KitTea, she knew she wanted to work there. When she returned home, she packed up her husband, her cat Primrose(Prim) & moved to the Bay Area to apply for her Dream Retirement job and has been with KitTea for almost 5yrs now.
